Did you know that Carl Linnaeus was the first person to categorise living things in to groups?
Year 6 had a go at this and we had some rather different results. Some children sorted the plants and animals in to two groups, others in to three groups...we even had several children classify the living things in to five groups! It was interesting how we all sorted them differently. Can you think of ways to sort and classify plants and animals?
