Science

 In Science, we have been exploring classification systems. In groups, we created different categories and grouped the animals based on similar characteristics.  Some of the animals like the duck-billed platypus proved to be challenging!

Y6 have learned about what compassion means and we demonstrated this with two apples - one of the apples we were really nice to and to the other apple, we were quite nasty. We realised that the apple we were nasty to had gone rather brown and bruised inside. We should think before we speak as it can hurt people on the inside, even though they look normal on the outside.  Oh and let's not forget to give you the results of our science investigation.....potatoes ARE alive!
